Questions, concerns and campaign contact

Contact Joedy

If you have a question about the campaign, a concern affecting your neighbourhood, an issue involving City Hall or simply something you think a candidate for Council should know about, I want to hear from you.

The simplest way to reach me

Send me an email.

Email provides room to explain the issue properly and makes it easier to keep the details together when follow-up is needed.

Help me understand the issue

A few useful details can make follow-up much easier.

You do not need to write a formal letter. A clear description of what happened and why it matters is usually the best starting point.

  • Your name and the best way to contact you if you would like a response.
  • The location or neighbourhood if the concern relates to a particular place.
  • Important dates or previous contacts if you have already raised the issue with the City or another organization.
  • A short description of the result you are looking for so the practical issue is clear.
  • Relevant photographs or documents where they help explain the concern.

A practical note about correspondence

Please avoid sending passwords, banking information or other information that is not necessary to explain your concern.

Messages relating to campaign questionnaires or public policy may sometimes form part of my public campaign record. Personal correspondence from residents will not be treated as a political endorsement simply because someone contacts me.

City Hall should listen before it decides.

I cannot promise that I will agree with every position brought to me, but I believe residents deserve to be heard, their concerns understood and decisions explained clearly.
